Hiroyuki Sanada is one of Hollywood’s most well-known and respected Japanese actors. Although he started his career in Japanese and Hong Kong action films, over the years, he has gained prominence as an excellent dramatic actor. He has starred in some very well-known projects like Shōgun, John Wick: Chapter 4, The Wolverine, and 47 Ronin.
While he has gained immense popularity in recent years, he has been acting since he was six. This has left a lot of footage from his childhood, available for the general public to see. It would seem that there is one thing over the years that he has refused to do; age.

Recently, Figen on X posted a video of Hiroyuki Sanada over his many years as an actor. They started with his role in the 1966 film, Game of Chance, to his most recent feat, Shōgun. With this video, they also added how the legendary actor does not age. Although maturity has certainly become more than an acquaintance for him, the same cannot be said about aging.

Despite having been acting for almost six decades, the actor looks much younger than he actually is, sitting at the age of 63. Regardless of his age, he is still acting in some very physically challenging roles and doing an excellent job at that.

Hiroyuki Sanada Is Not Alone In His Timelessness
While Hiroyuki Sanada’s refusal to age is quite surprising and exciting to marvel over, he is not alone in his immortality. Two other actors have become famous for not aging or aging like fine wine; Morgan Freeman and Keanu Reeves. The former of the pair is one of the most respected actors in Hollywood, having many different accolades under his belt, and has been acting since 1964.

Freeman has gained a reputation for looking the same in the last two decades, having seemingly stopped aging after he became 60 years old. Reeves, on the other hand, seems to have always looked the same.

While his skills as an actor have matured drastically, the one thing that has stayed constant with him over the years is his face. It would seem that despite his 40 years in the industry, he has stayed the same when it comes to his appearance, looking much younger than he is.
