According to a recent rumor, Anthony Joshua has invested £30 million in a massive commercial enterprise in addition to his real estate business.
The 34-year-old British heavyweight seems to be planning for life beyond boxing after witnessing “so many athletes squander their fortunes.”
He has acquired a 301,000 square foot property in Hertfordshire, which was BP’s former headquarters, according to The Sun.
“AJ has seen so many athletes build vast wealth and then squander it all,” a friend of Anthony’s told the newspaper.
“He is not that stupid.” He has been working hard to create a massive enterprise that will flourish long after he hangs up his gloves and involves several significant investments in various sectors.
It was a wise decision for Anthony Joshua, 34, to spend £30 million in a major commercial project while building his real estate business.
He and his associates have very ambitious ambitions for the facility he has purchased, they continued.
Since making his professional debut ten years ago, Anthony has been progressively constructing an empire beneath the surface of his boxing career.
The British heavyweight has never concealed his ridiculous goals, but he began his career in boxing with the motto “stay hungry, stay humble.”
Among them is to inspire young people by being the greatest fighter of all time. For many of kids in the UK who aspire to box, he is a great role model. However, we also know that he is highly motivated by money.
“My initial goal was to become a multimillionaire,” he said to GQ in 2017. However, due to rising property values, some common individuals, such as grandparents, are now worth millions of dollars. The current paradigm thus holds that I must be a millionaire.
“Achieving millionaire status is nice, but you should aim higher.” If my next fight brings in £10 million, then my next goal needs to be ten times that amount. Why not go for the billion if I reach the £100–150 million mark? I know billionaires who made themselves. Though difficult, it is attainable.
Floyd Mayweather, whose nickname is literally “Money,” has declared his value to be more than £1 billion. Having built an empire of combat promotion, exhibition fights, souvenirs, and sponsorships, he is thirteen years Joshua’s senior.
Joshua still has to work toward his goal. According to the Mirror, he is thought to have over £109 million in the bank today following over ten years of lucrative endorsement agreements and multi-million dollar bouts. But considering where he came from, his current position is outstanding.
Future: After seen “so many athletes squander their fortunes,” the British heavyweight boxer seems to be preparing his future outside of the sport.
Plans: The Sun claims that he has bought a 301,000 square foot property in Hertfordshire that was BP’s former headquarters.
His narrative is a rags-to-riches account of a man who was raised on a council estate, engaged in drug sales as a youngster, and had court appearances and run-ins with the law. For a while, he had an electronic tag around his ankle while he worked his way up the ranks.
He hasn’t held back from showing off his money since he succeeded in the 2012 Olympics and was instantly famous and wealthy. Joshua has an amazing collection of cars that he has gathered throughout the years, proving that he is somewhat of a petrolhead.
With a custom-made £150,000 Range Rover SVO with his name engraved in the tread plates and a £93,000 white Jaguar XJR, his garage is estimated to be worth £1 million. He loves this automobile so much because it helps him stand out, making it one of his favorites.
“It feels like a watch when I arrive in a Jag,” he said to the Guardian. Everybody possesses some watches, but certain timepieces are known to just a select few. The Jag is an automobile that only a select few are familiar with.
Not to mention his Rolls Royce Phantom stretch for £600,000, his Mercedes v8 BiTurbo for £146,000, or his comparatively’modest’ Audi A3 S-Line.
But he hasn’t forgotten the people who are close to him. He gave his mother Yeta a Range Rover to introduce her to his passion for automobiles, and in 2013, he also purchased her a home in north London.
He’s come a long way since then, but that was his first foray into the real estate market. The Mirror claims that he spent around £7.5 million on houses in 2019 and 2020, for a total of almost £10 million on new residences.
Joshua has already signed a few young talents to his management business, 258 Management, and is taking steps to become a promoter. However, he has also entered the real estate industry by establishing 258 Investments, which manage his real estate business.
He owns more than a dozen houses, three in Watford valued at a total of £1.5 million, and one in north London valued at £1 million.
What a clever guy Joshua is. Fans may outfit themselves in his AJBXING apparel, boxing gloves, clothing, caps, and fitness items on his website.

Hugo Boss, Jaguar Land Rover, William Hill, and the sportswear behemoth Under Armour are among his clients; they have flown him all over the world on their private aircraft. He made £8,453,578 from such sales in the year ending in February 2021.
But, Joshua’s star power appears to be waning a little bit. It was discovered that his 258 group lost almost £3 million in sponsorships following his defeat by Oleksandr Usyk in 2021, the bout in which he gave up his world belts.
His endorsements nearly collapsed in the next fiscal year, ending in February 2022, with the firm earning just £5,527,952, or a 35 percent loss.
Joshua doesn’t have any world championship belts, but he is still a big attraction and well-known personality. It’s understandable, though, that he’s eager to return to the fray and compete for the greatest bouts and their enormous purses.
