Kim Kardashian remained sombre and silent as she was asked about the Princess of Wales, who bravely shared her cancer diagnosis with the world on Friday.
A week before Kate went public with the news in a video message, reality star Kim joined a throng of stars making quips about the future queen of England’s whereabouts. Kate had not been seen in public since Christmas, with many famous faces and social media commentators making wild conspiracies about her health and absence.
Kim, 43, joined in by sharing a sultry photo of herself posed up next to a sports car, penning: “On my way to go find Kate’ in the caption. She posted the snap to Instagram for her 364 million followers to see.

A week after Kim’s post, Kate put an abrupt end to the gossip as she issued a statement revealing she has been diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy treatment. The Princess of Wales said she had taken time to come to terms with her news and tell her children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8 and Prince Louis, 5, before sharing with the wider world.
On Saturday, Kim was spotted heading to her eldest son Saint’s football game in Los Angeles when she was asked by a swarm of photographers about the Princess.

“Amy comments on Kate?” one called out to her, but the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star kept a sombre silence.
It could be that Kim did not hear the questioning, but she has yet to take down her Kate post – unlike many famous faces who have since apologised for their part in joking about the royals.
Kim’s post – which still has the comments on – has been inundated with criticism from fans. “You should take this down!” fumed one fan. “She’s having cancer treatment… this has not aged well,” complained another but so far, the reality TV personality turned business mogul has yet to speak out.

On Friday, Kate made the announcement that her cancer diagnosis had come as a ‘huge shock’.
“It has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be ok,” she said.
“As I have said to them; I am well and getting stronger every day by focusing on the things that will help me heal; in my mind, body and spirits.
“Having William by my side is a great source of comfort and reassurance too. As is the love, support and kindness that has been shown by so many of you. It means so much to us both.”
Following the announcement, royal commentator Jennie Bond appeared on Sky News to discuss the shock events and suggested Kate would have felt forced to speak out after the ‘ghastly’ gossip about her in recent weeks.

Former royal correspondent Jennie, 73, said: “What a courageous young woman she is. How very brave to make a video message like that. She didn’t have to, but she did that partly I think because of all the ridiculous, absurd theories that have been going round on the internet.
“And that really is my second thought, it is that I hope that those social media trolls who have peddled such ghastly, hurtful theories will now realise what they’ve done and be absolutely ashamed of themselves. And I hope we’ll all take pause for thought and not be led by the nose by what goes on social media.
“But I think we should think ‘what a brave young woman’. She obviously has got a bit of a battle ahead. She’s just been trying to keep her family together, keep her thoughts together, look after those precious children and my heart absolutely goes out to her. I think that everyone’s estimation of her will go sky-high now.”
