With her blue blouse and green skirt, the Devil Wears Prada star was every inch the retro girl about town.

The film is directed by Lone Scherfig, who also directed Carey Mulligan (who also ended up with cropped hair later on) in An Education.

Perhaps Hathaway is hoping that, like Mulligan, she gets Oscar attention for her role in the film.

And like Mulligan,  Anne looked effortlessly chic and beautiful with her new cropped ‘do.

Hathway also has another romantic comedy called Love And Other Drugs out in November.

She is reuniting with her Brokeback Mountain co-star Jake Gyllenhall in a movie about a Viagra salesman who is a big hit with all the ladies he encounters on his business trips.

Hathaway plays Maggie Murdock, a woman who suffers from Parkinsons disease.

She meets Gyllenhall’s Reidy when he pretends to be a medical intern and sits in on her consultation during a visit to a doctor’s office.

The couple end up entering a relationship that turns into a raunchy love affair.
