According to E! News, Miyah has undergone seven chemotherapy treatments since being diagnosed with Stage 3B Burkitt’s lymphoma last year.

The Wizards sent Miyah and her mother Kadisha Telemaque from their home in Washington DC to New York to meet the star in a Manhattan recording studio.

The star shared the touching event in a series of Instagram snaps and a video in which she told her little fan: ‘I’m so happy that you got your pink wig. I think you’re beautiful without the pink wig, okay?

‘Whenever you want to play dress up and feel like a little Barbie Doll, that’s fine. But, remember you promised me that you were gonna stay in school.’

Little Miyah looked radiant in her specially made pink wig and a red and brown cardigan over a pink T-shirt. And she couldn’t stop smiling as the beautiful singer cuddled up to her.

‘Her smile, it lit the room up,’ Kadisha told the Washington Post. ‘To her, it was all like a dream.’

Miyah also gave the singer and her manager Washington Wizards jerseys autographed by John Wall.
