Anna Won’t Help, So Joss Runs To Jason To Protect Dex

General Hospital spoilers leak Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) may have had tears in her eyes, but she turned Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) away just the same. There is no room in Anna’s plans right now to accommodate Joss’ feelings for her ex-boyfriend, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer).

She is focused on finally being the Police Commissioner who will take Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) down. Although she doesn’t want to see Dex become collateral damage in the process, Joss’ cold words left her uncertain of her ability to truly protect him from a man like Sonny.

If the mob mastermind wants Dex dead, he’ll probably end up that way. Anna knows this. Joss knows this. In light of leaving the PCPD with no hope that Anna will take her warning seriously, Joss is determined to find someone to stop what she sees as impending doom for Dex ahead. Can Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) save him — and will he?

General Hospital Spoilers — It’s Who Jason Morgan Is

For all of Joss’ life, she’s known that Jason was in her corner and she could rely on him to pull her out of any mess, anywhere, any time. This time around shouldn’t be any different.

Given how he just showed up back in town and is working to mend the broken feelings he left in his wake by pretending he was dead for the last two years, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) trusts him. By default, so does her daughter.

So now that Joss is spinning her wheels trying to figure out who she can call upon to make sure Dex stays safe, the next logical solution seems to be Jason.

Anna isn’t going to deny Dex’s application for the academy based on Joss’ feelings, but maybe Jason can help. That’s what he does.

GH Spoilers – Spill Things Have Changed

Jason might still be that reliable guy on the inside, but he’s having to pretend to be someone else entirely at times on the outside. That could come into play when Joss asks him for this favor.

Keeping an eye on Dex won’t be easy while he’s trying to stay above board and run a legitimate coffee business.

Working as an informant for Special Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington) is up in the air right now and they work to let the dust settle from the warehouse shooting that targeted Sonny.

As Jason tries to turn over a new leaf — even if it is all for optics — he won’t be able to breach with that charade as easily as Joss hopes he will.

General Hospital Spoilers — Does Dex Heller Stand A Chance?

Without Anna’s willingness to rethink her decision to invite Dex to join the PCPD and take Sonny down, Joss is at the mercy of a mercenary.

She doesn’t know what Jason has been doing for the last two years, but she trusts that he hasn’t lost his edge or his ability to protect someone when they most need it.

Moreover, he’s the perfect person to protect someone from Sonny. He knows Joss’ former stepfather and how he operates.

Jason is the only person, other than Dex, who might be able to predict how Sonny would think or act in enough advanced time to save Dex from harm.

But jeopardizing Carly’s safety by going rogue and breaking ties with his informant gig isn’t going to cut it — and he’ll have no good way to explain that to Joss. Is she going to settle for his placating answers? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.

Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson was last night accused of taking a ‘simplistic’ approach after she said that top exam results alone will not make children ‘happy’. Laying out her vision for schooling in her first address to academy trust leaders since Labour came to power, Mrs Phillipson said that while a string of A* grades may ‘open important doors’, pupils need a ‘wider’ set of goals for a ‘healthy and happy life’. In a clear swipe at the Tories’ former regime, she accused them of having ‘tunnel vision’ when it comes to exam results – and said she wanted to promote ‘collaboration’ rather than ‘competition’.

Sir Mark Rowley suggested ‘people with huge influence’ had damaged trust in police after several Labour politicians, including Jeremy Corbyn, Diane Abbott and Bell Ribeiro-Addy called for ‘justice’ when the gangster was shot dead on September 5, 2022. Police marksman Sergeant Martyn Blake was later acquitted of murder in just three hours by jurors who decided it was lawful to shoot the 24-year-old through the windscreen after Kaba tried to use an Audi Q8 as a ‘battering ram’, almost running over officers in his bid to escape police.
