Molly’s Next Big Case Could Cost Her A Baby

General Hospital spoilers suggest Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos) is about to find herself in a very precarious position.

When Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) invited her to come take a peek at the mounting evidence against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Molly came at it from a professional position as a prosecutor. That demeanor quickly changed when she realized Anna was intent on forcing her to prosecute the case.

Highlighting the matter of Sonny being her sister’s father carried no weight with Anna, but it’s going to mean everything to Molly. She can’t very well quit her job over this, but will she move forward as though that isn’t a choice while losing her sister — and possibly her child — in the process?

General Hospital Spoilers — Kristina Corinthos Isn’t Going to Take This Well

When Kristina stopped by Molly’s apartment late at night to air her feelings about Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy), Molly was receptive and didn’t let on that she’d had a literal truth bomb dropped in her lap that day about Sonny.

Molly could see the pain and anguish on her sister’s face as Kristina fiercely defended her father and insisted he was not the type of man who would order a hit on an old man lying helpless in a hospital bed.

It’s unlikely that Kristina will want to part with that version of reality she’s living in — and so she’s not going to take it well when Molly assumes the prosecution against him.

GH Spoilers – Say Molly Lansing Davis’s Hands Aren’t Quite Tied

When Molly tries to explain that she’s just doing her job, and Kristina balks at her explanation, we’re likely to hear them rehash the events of Molly prosecuting Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) just weeks ago.

Kristina might have challenged her a bit, but she stood by her sister as knew she would do her job impartially — or at least she wanted to trust that.

This time around, she’s not going to see it that way because Kristina won’t be capable of seeing the truth about Sonny, and Molly will only be able to act on said truth. Expect Kristina to accuse Molly of having no integrity when it boils down to it.

As Molly insists her hands were tied and she didn’t have the authority to refuse to prosecute the case against Sonny, Kristina may go as far as implying she could have left her job on such merits if she really believed Sonny was innocent.

The silence between them on that front will be enough to confirm to Kristina that Molly doesn’t share her sister’s opinions of the type of man Sonny really is.

General Hospital Spoilers — A New Legal Battle Awaits

Molly and Kristina might think their biggest hurdle is getting through Sonny’s trial without wanting to kill one another, but the heartbreak that lies ahead is going to be much more painful than Kristina worrying her father will spend the rest of his life in prison because her sister put him there.

Without any legal paperwork in place to the contrary, the baby that Kristina is carrying is legally her own with TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow). Will Kristina turn vindictive and decide she’s not giving up her child after all for Molly to raise with her domestic partner?

Might she feel that she can’t trust her sister anymore and doesn’t want the woman who tried to send her dad away for life and betrayed her to be the mother to her child?
