A series of alleged private email exchanges between two Hollywood heavyweights have surfaced
Actress Angelina Jolie was branded a “minimally talented spoiled brat” during a vicious rant by one of Hollywood’s top producers, leaked emails have revealed.
The star, who works as UN goodwill ambassador, became the latest victim of the Sony Pictures hackers after an exchange between the company’s co-chairperson Amy Pascal and Scott Rudin were published online.
The email claims Angelina, 39, was annoyed after learning David Fincher was set to direct the upcoming Jobs biopic as opposed to a re-make of Cleopatra in which she would play the lead.
As Rudin, 56, and Pascal discuss the situation in February, things quickly become fiery between the two.
Discussing the actress he appears to refer to her as “a minimally talented spoiled brat” before launching in to a rant slamming her in multiple e-mails.
“[Jolie] is upset about us giving david jobs she wants to talk,” wrote Pascal, 56, to Rudin in a leaked e-mail dated February 27.Angelina Jolie makes her way to a Q & A meeting at the Writers Guild in Beverly Hills
According to the exchange, published by website Gawker, the producer says he has little time or interest in discussing Angelina’s concerns.
“She’ll survive it. I don’t want to waste my time on this,” he wrote.
However, later that day the situation become more intense when Rudin write: “You better shut Angie down before she makes it very hard for David to do Jobs.”
In response Pascal says: “Do not f**king threaten me.”
It is claimed Rudin, the first ever producer to win an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony award, then continues to attack Angelina making several disparaging remarks.
The alleged email states: “There is no movie of Cleopatra to be made (and how that is a bad thing and rampaging spoiled ego of this woman and the cost of the movie is beyond me) and if you won’t tell her that you do not like the script – which, let me remind you, SHE DOESN’T EITHER – this will just spin even further out in Crazyland but let me tell you I have zero appetite for the indulgence of spoiled brats and I will tell her this myself if you don’t.”
Appearing to calm down, he adds: “You know Eric and she have always wanted David and I have been the one saying no for two years.
“I have asked you to talk to her with me and you don’t want to deal with it.”

However, his temper quickly resurfaces when he launches in to another meltdown in which he points his anger to Angelina.
“If you engage in this again, we will end up losing Fincher on the one we want him to do and will be stuck with shoving him onto a movie with no script that, underneath it all, you know in your heart and your brain should never be made,” he is alleged to have written.
“I’m not remotely interested in presiding over a $180m ego bath that we both know will be the career-defining debacle for us both.
“I’m not destroying my career over a minimally talented spoiled brat who thought nothing of shoving this off her plate for eighteen months so she could go direct a movie.
“I have no desire to be making a movie with her, or anybody, that she runs and that we don’t.”
Rudin and Pascal were working together on a biopic of Steve Jobs written by Aaron Sorkin but following the alleged infighting Sony pulled out last month.

The plans had already hit difficulties when Fincher pulled out as director and then Christian Bale as the star.
The movie has now been taken up by rival Universal.
After Sony shelved their plans for the film Rudin could not help email Pascal once again.
“You’ve destroyed your relationships with half the town over how you’ve behaved on this movie, and if you don’t think it’s true, wait and see… you don’t deserve one exhalation of breath on your behalf,” he said.
“You’ve behaved abominably and it will be a very, very long time before I forget what you did to this movie and what you’ve put all of us through.”
The pair had worked together successfully on movies includingThe Social Network and Captain Phillips.
Hackers, suspected to be from North Korea, managed to infiltrate Sony’s server accessing the details of 47,000 employees as well as downloading thousands of confidential files.
These even included data relating to Princess Beatrice , who has been working at Sony’s London office since January.
Security chiefs have been called in to see whether the breach unwittingly led to other members of the monarchy who where in touch with the Princess having their private details accessed.
North Korea has previously called The Interview, which is about a CIA plot to assassinate leader Kim Jong-un, “undisguised sponsoring of terrorism” and “an act of war”
