“I might stick around for the Hartford Raw,” he joked. “I think I can just become the Phantom of the Opera, I can just live in this place, and I don’t think anybody would know.”

Punk took part in a pre-show at WWE HQ before Backlash and then went to the bathroom to change out of his suit. But then he got locked in the bathroom for so long that he missed a flight home.

Once he got out, he found himself with time on his hands and decided to “pull some Phantom of the Opera s–t and see how long it takes somebody to notice that I am in fact here.”

So CM Punk now haunts the WWE HQ. We’ll see for how much longer, but at the moment, the city of Stamford, Connecticut has temporarily gained one new resident.
