It seemed like Keanu Reeves was casually strolling around New York City with his pit bull on Thursday. However, the 51-year-old Matrix star was actually shooting scenes for his upcoming action film, John Wick 2. The actor looked at ease as he guided his canine companion on a leash through various locations, including the iconic Brooklyn Bridge.

Despite the evident winter setting and Christmas decorations in the background, Keanu was clad in relatively lightweight attire. For the shoot, he opted for simple brown oxford shoes, blue jeans, and a white, collarless, long-sleeve shirt. He casually rolled up the sleeves and left the top unbuttoned.

Keanu’s brown hair was down, parted in the middle, and his beard had a rugged yet well-groomed appearance. While the walk appeared leisurely, closer inspection revealed traces of blооԀ on half of his face.

Keanu is revisiting his role as the former hitman John Wick in the upcoming sequel. In the original film, his character sought ve𝚗gea𝚗ce against Russian mobsters who stole his cherished 1969 Mustang and killed his beloved Beagle puppy, Daisy. The action-packed movie concluded with the wоu𝚗ded assassi𝚗 saving a pit bull from a waterfront animal clinic.

Released in 2014 and directed by former stuntmen Chad Stahelski and David Leitch, the original John Wick received positive reviews and earned $86 million at the global box office.
