LeBron James & Bronny Free Agency Team-Up? NBA Playoffs Tracker

ESPN reporter Brian Windhorst downplayed the likelihood of the LeBron James and Bronny pairing in free agency.

May 13 BRIAN WINDHORST DOWNPLAYS LEBRON JAMES AND BRONNY FREE AGENCY TEAM-UP

It’s been a long-fueled rumor that Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James will team up with his son, Bronny, in free agency. Unlike many rumors that come from thin air, James put the coal to fire for the media in 2018 when he said playing on the same NBA court with his son would be the “greatest achievement” of his life.

However, Brian Windhorst, the same man who’s covered James since his high school playing days, thinks of the rumor as credible but not high on “the list.”

“Over the last few months, Rich Paul, who’s the agent for LeBron and Bronny James has made an effort to part the concept that drafting Bronny James means you’re getting LeBron. I do believe LeBron is going to opt out of his contract next month. And I do believe he has several reasons why he wants to do that. And leaving optionality for playing with Bronny is on the list, but I don’t think it’s at the top. I do think he’s going to be back with the Lakers.”

Although the New York Knicks would immensely benefit from having James on their roster, perhaps drafting Bronny would come as a waste if not bundled with one of the best players of all time.

The New York Knicks are a hot ticket. Like, $400 worth of hot just to get into the building.

Yes, if you want to be at Madison Square Garden on Monday night to watch Game 1 between the Indiana Pacers and Knicks – and you do! – you’ll have to have saved up your pennies.

At this time, the cheapest ticket for the Pacers-Knicks game is reportedly around $400. Want to get down lower? Get ready to double that cost.

Will it be worth it? That’s between you and your banker as tipoff for Game 1 between the Pacers and Knicks is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.

All-Star guards Tyrese Haliburton of the Paces and Jalen Brunson of the Knicks will be centerpieces here …

And here it comes … Game 1 is set for Monday, May 6 at Madison Square Garden at 7:30 PM ET and will air nationally on TNT. … in front of a rambunctious crowd that surely has memories of Reggie Miller vs. Patrick Ewing and the colorful 1990s history between these teams.
