The seven-time champion Denver Broncos enlisted his assistance in revealing their 2024 NFL schedule.
In the team’s film announcing the schedule release for 2024, Hamilton—who became a member of the Walton-Penner Family Ownership Group in 2022—is highlighted. This season, Denver has given the Formula 1 driver the challenge of sampling various dishes linked with each of the teams in the league. As the Broncos play the Indianapolis Colts to start the season, the film opens with Hamilton snacking on carrots soaked in ranch dressing.
Hamilton remarks, “I’m not big on ranch,” dipping a carrot into the dressing. “It is impossible that they are consuming carrots down there.”
Hamilton then acknowledges that, in fact, the flavor profile is really good. The driver laughs and says, “That is really banging.”
Some additional amazing times? One such instance is when Hamilton queries “[w]hat is a yinzer?” in reference to Denver’s game versus the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2. Or when, in reference to Denver’s Week 8 matchup with the Carolina Panthers, Hamilton winces after attempting southern grits.
“That is the worst one, without a doubt,” the Mercedes driver remarks. “How in the world is that? The texture is incredibly slimy, and I was disgusted by that one.
In addition, he left dog treats for his bulldog Roscoe for Denver’s Week 13 matchup with the Cleveland Browns.
Among the dishes Hamilton did find appetizing? The avocado toast served alongside the Broncos’ opponents, the Los Angeles Chargers, whom they will face in Weeks Six and Sixteen. “This is huge,” said Hamilton.
