Fight night: Ruby Rose has confessed UFC Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey single-handedly converted her to the mixed martial arts code

‘Ronda, I’m definitely your next opponent,’ Rose jests, before quickly adding, ‘No, no, I don’t mean that at all.’

When asked if she would ever take up boxing again, the Aussie says she enjoys the activity as a form of exercise, but adds: ‘It doesn’t quite go with being an actor, you know, going into an audition with a black eye.’

Having spent a number of weeks DJing in the City of Lights, Rose says that she took time out of her busy schedule because she ‘had to see this fight.’

When the interviewer asks if she’ll be attending Rousey’s fight against Holly Holm in Rose’s home town of Melbourne in November, the actor shakes her head, smiles and expresses her disbelief at the timing of it.

‘Dude, I’m so mad,’ she says laughing.

‘I’ve lived in Melbourne for the good part of 25 years of my life and I finally move to LA, which is so close to Vegas… and now she has to have a huge fight in Melbourne.’

‘She’s doing it just to spite me clearly,’ she quips.

Rose has most recently been teasing her Twitter followers with very little detail about her new exciting projects, which have resulted her cancelling some US dates.

On Friday, she tweeted: ‘Hey guys!! To confirm, I’m doing all the shows this weekend and can’t wait!! Then from Tuesday I’m gone for 5 weeks shooting a film called..’

In which the follow-up tweet was: ‘Bummer I ran out of room. I’ll tell you next time.’
