The golfer was seen showcasing his incredible skills at the Monday practice round for the last major of the season. The Open Championship is set to take place from July 18 to 21, and the loyal Woods fans couldn’t be more excited to watch their favorite on the greens of Royal Troon.

Everyone has seen the legend of golf struggling with his injuries and overall health in the past few years. The golfer underwent surgery last year to help with his ankle pain. Although it has gotten better, it is just not the same as it used to be. We are not saying this; his recent performances include two very sad missed cuts at Valhalla and Pinehurst. It must have stung more, as the golfer felt that he gave it his all and yet failed. But Woods is not the one to back out.

Continuing his streak of working hard to add the 16th title to his illustrious career, the golfer looked stunning on Monday. PGA Tour on X shared a video that shows his swing in slow motion, and undoubtedly, it looked powerful. This is not all; the 48-year-old was also seen practicing on Sunday at the Royal Troon after an overnight flight, proving to be in a better state of health and ready for action!

Fans showed their support and love for Tiger Woods.

The user said, “Damn, it always looks so easy, natural, and inevitable when HE does it.” Referring to how effortlessly the golfer has won 82 events on the Tour and 15 majors, this fan hailed the GOAT highly. Woods has one of the most decorated careers on the PGA Tour, spanning nearly three decades.

Some fans were only hoping to see their favorite play the whole tournament, which might prove to be a rare occurrence considering the past few tournaments. One user said, “I just want to see him play all 4 days this week”.  Fans would love to see Woods make it to contention in The Open, but is that going to be the case? One user expressed their doubts about it, “Swing looks good. Don’t think he’ll be in contention but would love to see it.”  Tiger Woods pulled out of the Genesis Invitational, an event hosted by the player himself, after the first round, citing influenza. Thinking of the unfortunately missed cuts at the US Open, and PGA Championship, the fan was urged to see his favorite play all four days, not caring what the result will come out to be.

Woods’s trouble with his legs is not an unknown tale. He has had a lot of surgeries done, with the latest being in April last year. He has been doing fairly well now as he has not been limping on the course while walking, and looks physically fit as well, but extra prayer never hurts anyone, right? Keeping this in mind, one fan commented, “Lord please let the ankle hold up for the week. We deserve it.”

Another fan commented, “Can’t wait to actually see a “Sunday” red polo 🥺”. Everyone knows about the red polo theory that Woods shares with his mother. According to Woods’s mother, the color red symbolizes power, and she believes that red is the golfer’s power color. This is the reason the golfer has been seen wearing a red polo on most of the last rounds. Fans are excited to see their favorite, legendary golfer making it to the fourth round and hopefully win the trophy!
