Kevin De Bruyne toasted his all but confirmed £52million move to Manchester City with a meal at the city’s popular Chinese restaurant Wing’s on Saturday evening.
The Wolfsburg playmaker is close to making a club record move to the Barclays Premier League leaders after completing his medical in Manchester over the weekend.
De Bruyne was spotted leaving the Chinese restaurant, which is popular amongst players of both City and Manchester United, with girlfriend Michele Lacroix.

Earlier on Saturday, the Wolfsburg star was seen leaving a Cheshire hospital after taking a private jet at Braunschweig Airport to England with girlfriend Michele Lacroix.
The 24-year-old even had time to sign a fan’s Wolfsburg shirt and pose for a picture alongside him before departing for Manchester.
The sighting of De Bruyne follows Friday’s development where City expect to sign the Belgium international for £52million. An official announcement is expected on Sunday.
Speaking on Friday Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs claimed De Bruyne’s transfer will be completed ‘either tonight or tomorrow’ with the attacker a spectator for their 3-0 win over Schalke on Friday night.

Manuel Pellegrini has been chasing the former Chelsea winger throughout the summer and only minor formalities are left to conclude before the transfer window shuts on September 1.
Allofs said: ‘We will complete everything either tonight or tomorrow.
‘De Bruyne is off to Manchester City. I explained at the press conference that we had begun talks, those talks have progressed. Now only minor issues remain.’
Meanwhile, City captain Vincent Kompany believes the club would be making a great signing if they complete a deal for De Bruyne.
There has been no comment from the club and manager Manuel Pellegrini has consistently refused to answer questions about the club’s apparent summer-long pursuit of the former Chelsea player.

But Kompany has spoken of his admiration for De Bruyne and would welcome his addition.
Speaking after his side’s 2-0 win over Watford at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, Kompany told Sky Sports: ‘We’ll see once everything’s been confirmed.
‘We’ll have another player who’s dangerous, who can score goals and who is really efficient.
‘It’s going to be a long season with a lot of competitions and the squad can’t be big enough.’
