31 Cast Members from ‘Absolutely Fabulous’ Have Passed Away

In a poignant tribute to the beloved British television series “Absolutely Fabulous,” it has been revealed that 31 cast members from the show have passed away, leaving behind a legacy of unforgettable performances and cherished memories. The series, which originally aired from 1992 to 2012, was known for its sharp wit and unique characters, from the outrageous antics of Edina Monsoon and her best friend Patsy Stone to the eccentric ensemble surrounding them.

Among those remembered is Christopher Malcolm, who portrayed Justin, Edina’s kind-hearted ex-husband. Malcolm, born in 1946, added a gentle touch to the chaotic world of the show before he passed away in 2014 at the age of 67. Similarly, Kate O’Mara, who played the glamorous Jackie Stone, represented high society and its hidden insecurities until her death from cancer in 2014 at 74.

Tim Woodward, known for his role as Headmaster Tony Simmons, and Marianne Faithfull, who portrayed God in a surreal moment, also contributed to the show’s charm. Both left us in recent years, with Woodward passing away in November 2023 and Faithfull in January 2025.

Iconic figures like June Whitfield, who played Edina’s mother, and Julia Sawalha as her daughter Saffron, remain etched in the hearts of fans.
