Jungkook has officially joined Spotify’s billion streams club with the solo song “Seven”
The debut solo single of Jungkook – a member of the group BTS – titled Seven has officially surpassed 1 billion streams on the Spotify platform. Notably, the new achievement has helped Jungkook become the artist with the fastest song to reach 1 billion streams in the platform’s history.
Specifically, according to Spotify, it took Seven only 108 days to reach the important milestone, breaking the previous record of 112 days held by Flowers by Miley Cyrus. Jungkook also broke Miley Cyrus’ record with the milestone of 900 million streams and received congratulations from audiences around the world.
Back when it was first released in July, Seven also made history as the first song by a K-Pop solo artist to debut at No. 1 on the Global chart. Breaking the release record in the first 24 hours also made Jungkook the first male artist to surpass 15 million streams on the first day with a new song.
