Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, who registered four catches for 26 yards during Kansas City’s 22-9 win over the Giants, feels like the team has finally found its rhythm. “I will say, it feels like we’re rolling,” Kelce said on the latest episode of his “New Heights” podcast.
“It feels like we’re starting to get this thing going on offense, our defense is playing stellar, both this game and last absolutely phenomenal performances… We had a few turnovers. And when you win the turnover battle, you typically win the game.”
Kelce’s fiancée, Taylor Swift, did not attend Kansas City’s Sunday Night Football game at MetLife Stadium last week. However, Swift did not attend any road games last season, either. While fans hope to see the 35-year-old pop star when the Chiefs host the Ravens on Sunday, it’s unclear if she’ll make it back to Arrowhead Stadium in time.

TMZ photographed Swift making her way through the Santa Barbara airport on Friday, September 26. She’s in Southern California to attend her best friend Selena Gomez’s wedding to music producer Benny Blanco.
While Swift would love to bring her fiancé as her date to the star-studded nuptials, it’s nearly impossible for the 10-time Pro Bowler to join her at the wedding.

While some NFL teams only have a curfew for road games, former Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman’s fiancée, Chariah Gordon, told People that players have a curfew for home games, as well.
“Yeah, they have a curfew. Each game, they have to be in by 11:00,” she told the outlet. Per the NFL’s collective bargaining agreement, “Any material curfew violation the night prior to the Club’s game may be considered conduct detrimental to the Club upon player’s first offense.”
Players are also restricted from drinking alcohol the night before a game. “The ship is tight over here,” Gordon added.
As a team captain, Kelce is expected to set an example for the rest of his teammates. Making his way to Monetico, approximately 3 hours and 21 minutes on a direct flight, and making it back home to Leawood, Kansas, by 11:00 p.m., especially with the time change, it’s likely too tall a task. Unfortunately for Kelce, the Chiefs bye isn’t until Week 10.
The night before Gomez and Blanco’s wedding, Kelce needed to remain in Kansas City for his annual Kelce Car Jam. The block party-style event raises money for his 87 & Running Foundation and Operation Breakthrough.
While fans hoped to see Swift at the event, she landed in Santa Barbara before the party kicked off. She’s likely attending Gomez and Blanco’s rehearsal dinner on Friday night. A source told Page Six, “She will be renting a house near the wedding venue, which is a secret to the public. Her security team feels it’s better than a hotel.”
Kelce’s father, Ed Kelce, and mother, Donna Kelce, however, joined the Chiefs star at Knuckleheads for the annual fundraiser. VIP ticket holders got to hear Kelce speak in a more private setting before he hit the main stage. “I can’t thank you enough for showing up and showing out,” he told the crowd in a video shared on Instagram. “Kansas City always does.”
