She has a tendency not to take herself too seriously.
And it was no different for Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence on Friday as she entertained crowds at the Big Lebowski live read in Montreal.
The 24-year-old opened the event, which saw a group of unprepared performers read the film’s classic script, by jovially asking the front row if they could see up her skirt.
The actress, who was playing Maude Lebowski, laughed off her concern and put on a leggy display in a white lined dress, which buttoned down the front and tied around the middle.
Sporting a new hairstyle – long, blonde locks, which were loosely curled at the ends – she looked happy and relaxed as she clutched a drink on stage.
The American teamed the casual look with a pair of black sandals featuring pretty detailing.

She completed the look with a slick of pink lipstick and simple eye make-up.
The live read also featured Michael Fassbender, who played Dude, and Patton Oswalt.
It saw the audience dissolve into laughter when Jennifer moaned she’d been waiting three hours for her part.
While waiting for her lines, the talented blonde could be seen smoking and chatting to Martin Starr, who played multiple roles.
Another highlight was Fassbender showcasing his singing voice.
The read is a seasonal series organised by director Jason Reitman.
