Erling Haaland narrowly missed out on the prestigious Ballon d’Or award last night, with the prize instead going to Lionel Messi.
But the Norwegian 23-year-old did pick up Gerd Muller Trophy for the best striker, after his incredible 52-goal season, helping Manchester City win the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League.
And by his side in Paris, looking more glamourous than ever, was his stunning girlfriend Isabel Haugseng Johansen.
Isabel, 19, is often pitch side to cheer the star striker.
But her glamorous life in Manchester is a far cry from just a year ago when she was sitting in a classroom at Bryne Upper Secondary School in south-west Norway.
Adjudged to be ‘the luckiest girl in Bryne’ by another of her friends, Isabel Haugseng Johansen (pictured) is the girlfriend of football’s newest sensation, Erling Braut Haaland

Her friends describe her as the ‘luckiest girl in Byrne’ and ‘incredibly beautiful, intelligent, sociable, outdoorsy,’.
A few months ago, she cycled to school and lunched on fish sandwiches in the canteen; now she is chauffeured around in a £400,000 white Rolls-Royce Cullinan and dines at the city’s swishest restaurants, dodging the Mancunian paparazzi as she leaves.
Instead of cramming for exams, now there are breaks in Marbella, where Haaland (who is paid an eyewatering £900,000 a week) has a villa.
It’s a stark difference from her life months ago, where she was still living at home with her parents in the fjords.
Johansen, is believed to have met Haaland at the youth academy at Bryne who they both played for.
They started dating when he was at Borussia Dortmund, with Isabel making frequent trips to visit him.
Haaland joined Bryne at the age of five and spent more than 10 years with the Norwegian side before later having spells at RB Salzburg, Dortmund and Man City.
Despite a quiet private life and no social media presence, she has been more regularly seen in the public eye during Haaland’s time at Man City, celebrating with him during their trophy successes last season.

Isabel was born and brought up in a small city called Bryne , the tiny town of 12,465, is a far cry from the bustling city of Manchester.
Speaking to the Sun last year, an insider said of Haaland: ‘Erling has the world at his feet — and women queuing up to be his partner.
‘But he’s a very sensible lad and it makes perfect sense he’s with a girl from his home town who he’s known for years.
‘He needs to be able to trust the people in his life and just concentrate on football.’
Despite being outdoorsy, she seems to be settling into life in the UK’s third city, with the couple spotted dining at the Ivy and taking trips to London for shopping trips on Oxford street.

The footballer was recently dubbed the ‘best striker in the world’ by football manager Jürgen Klopp, 55.
It was reported last year that Erling’s obsession with sleep, diet and specialised training have been key to his success on the sports field.
Erling is obsessed with proper sleep and how it improves performance, describing it as ‘perhaps the most important thing in life’. So he has worked at perfecting routines.
He wears orange-tinted, blue-light glasses in the hours before drifting off as they block out high energy emitted from natural light and digital screens.

Sleep is scheduled to start between 10pm and 10.30pm most nights, with electronic devices switched off way before then.
He is often not contactable, his phone on ‘do not disturb’ to avoid distractions.
His diet is balanced with carbohydrates — including his dad’s lasagne — and a love of fish.
‘Some players are scared of carbs after growing up in academies and needing to hit targets,’ one source said. ‘Let’s cut out rice, pasta… but that’s your fuel for running.’
He reportedly does extra training sessions to perfect his footballing technique and relies on meditation to help him focus.
He has played football all his life, being the son of professional footballer Alfie Haaland.
