In a video with Truly, Kerstin said: “Five years ago, I used to hate tattoos, but now I love them so much.”

“I sacrificed all my savings to get a tattoo.”

“I invested between 30,000 Euro and 35,000 Euro (about £35,000) on my tattoos….”

“I got my first tattoo when I was 48 years old and three years later, I decided to get my whole body tattooed.”

“I felt like my bare skin was boring. I simply wanted to try something new.”

Kerstin overcame her aversion to tattoos and decided to try this body art

Even though Kerstin has drastically changed her appearance, she has no regrets and plans to continue getting new tattoos.

She said: “When I look at myself in the mirror, I see a meadow full of flowers that everyone loves.”

“I don’t regret any of my tattoos, they’re all amazing…”

“Tattoos are very important to me because every morning when I wake up and look in the mirror, I always feel happy about these beautiful tattoos.”

Now, Kerstin’s body looks like a living work of art

Although Kerstin’s family and friends all support her, she still occasionally receives hate comments from some people saying that Kerstin is “too old for a tattoo”.

The Instagram model doesn’t let this hold her back, though.

“My friends always say I look great. They always support me and don’t have any problems with it,” she said.

“When we walk down the street, I get a lot of looks but my friends don’t mind. They’re very used to this.”

“I get negative comments but you know, what strangers say doesn’t matter to me at all.”

Kerstin ignores critics who say she’s “too old” to get a tattoo

Kerstin continued: “I am me and I only live once. I’m the one who enjoys it, not everyone else. It’s my job to feel happy.”

“No one is too old for a tattoo and I don’t care what other people say.”

Kerstin plans to continue her journey, starting with plans to tattoo the remaining bare skin on her neck.

“My next tattoo will be on my neck. I want to get it done as soon as possible,” Kerstin said.
