Venus Williams puts on a leggy display in a metallic minidress after a GQ bash during NYFW

Venus Williams amped up the glamour on Saturday evening as she headed home from GQ’s New York Fashion Week party in the city.

The tennis champ showed off her toned physique during the outing as she donned a metallic minidress and covering blazer.

Making her way through the district of Chelsea in the Big Apple, the seven-time Grand Slam winner appeared in high spirits for the night out.

Venus Williams, 42, put on a leggy display on Saturday in a metallic minidress as she departed from a GQ party, hosted by Kendall Jenner, during New York Fashion Week

Her dress featured a crew-neck design and thigh-grazing slit, with figure-hugging material displaying her toned frame.

Venus kept warm by adding a black blazer over the number, complete with gold metal button detailing.

And elevating her height, the sportswoman added a pair of pointed toe court heels to the look, alongside silver hooped earrings.

Her dark locks were left in a gorgeous ringlet curl as they fell freely, with Venus adding a dark eyeliner to finish off her look.

The GQ bash was hosted by Kendall Jenner at luxury rooftop members club The Ned NoMad – with an exclusively crafted guestlist.

California native Venus has been spending a lot of time in New York City recently – as she and her sister Serena have been playing, and watching, in the US open.

Taking to the court on September 2, the Doubles duo left the competition as they suffered a straight-sets loss to Lucie Hradecka and Linda Noskova.

Venus and Serena hadn’t played together in Grand Slam doubles events since the 2018 French Open. They hadn’t played doubles in Flushing Meadows since 2014.

When the sisters have previously made the finals of Grand Slam doubles, they have been perfect – going 14 for 14 in the final round including two wins in Queens in 1999 and 2009.

Additionally, the sisters have won three Olympic gold medals in doubles at the games of 2000 in Sydney, 2008 in Beijing, and 2012 in London.

But the US Open game could have been their last appearance together, with Serena announcing her retirement from the sport as she plans to spend more time dedicated to her family.
