The gymnast’s reel also included a shot of what appears to be the Mayfair Lounge, one of Austin’s hottest spots, and was surrounded by bottles of champagne, neon signs, sparklers and her friends.

The couple announced their engagement in February and has been sharing their journey to the altar with their followers ever since.
Jonathan popped the question to Simone in a gazebo at sunset on Valentine’s Day with a three-carat oval diamond ring designed by jeweler ZoFrost.
One week later, the athletes revealed they would be having a destination wedding, and while the exact location has yet to be revealed, Simone hinted it was Bora Bora because she’s ‘always wanted to go.’
In March, the bride-to-be revealed she said yes to not one, but two dresses ahead of her wedding.

Simone shared several photos from a dress-shopping trip to designer Galia Lahav’s Los Angeles boutique – where she revealed, she ‘said yes to the dress(es).’
Lahav shared snaps from the athlete’s shopping day, showing Simone in two stunning gowns, which presumably didn’t make the final cut.
In a fan Q&A on her Instagram, Simone said that the first dress she tried on ‘was one of the ones I picked.’
‘The second one was about 8 in I’m guessing,’ she added.
And while the pictures the designer shared aren’t the actual dresses she chose for her big day, they do indicate she embraced traditional white dresses.
In one photo, Simone stunned in a revealing gown with a plunging neckline that offered a touch of skin with sheer sides. The skirt features a tulle design with floral embroidery and a long train that spanned several feet behind her.
In the other photo, she sported a strapless white beaded lace dress, which was a form-fitting mermaid cut.
At the end of her shopping day, Simone held up two signs while sporting a white tank and denim shorts.
The first sign read: ‘Officially a #GLbride,’ and the second read: ‘I said yes at Galia Lahav LA.’
Lahav added on Instagram: ‘It’s official: She said ‘YES to the dress(es)!’ We are over the moon & so honored about gold medalist & mega athlete @simonebiles becoming a GL Bride!’
Galia Lahav’s bridal gowns range in price from $2,190 to $4,960 online, however, neither of the dresses Simone sported are available on the site.
In June, the couple announced they had ticked off another part of wedding planning and officially sent out save the date cards.

On her Instagram story, the gymnast shared an image of the card which featured two photos of the lovebirds snuggled up on a beach while the waves of the ocean crashed behind them.
At the bottom of the card, the date was hidden by a caption that read, ‘ ‘Ahhh please come sooner!! The perfect couple’ alongside a white heart and ring emoji.
The athlete also revealed wedding planning was going ‘well so far’, adding that she’s ‘obsessed’ and ‘so excited.’
‘I don’t think I’ll be a bridezilla because I’m making sure I know exactly what I want. Also I’ll definitely hire a planner [because] between this & building a house, our hands are full,’ she added.
The bride further revealed that the proposal came as a complete shock to her.
‘I was completely clueless, because it was Valentine’s Day, so it was like, whatever, it’s normal,’ she said in a video.
‘When we got there the guy was like, ‘Hey, I’m taking pictures of all the couples coming through, yada yada, so I really had no idea,’ she added.

The happy couple first made their relationship public in August 2020, by posting photos of them to their social media.
According to the gymnast, they officially met through the exclusive dating app Raya after having a brief encounter at a Texans game in 2019.
She told the Wall Street Journal: ‘He would say I slid into his DMs. I saw him and I was like, ”Oh, he’s pretty cute,” so I said hi … and then I saw that he was in the Houston area, so we started chatting a little bit, and then we went to hang out a week or two later.’
After making their relationship Instagram official, the lovebirds spent the holidays together in 2020 and gave fans a glimpse into their PDA-filled relationship by sharing several photos of the pair snuggled up to each other.
Simone and Jonathan continue to remain inseparable as they prepare for their 2023 wedding, and while the date is yet to be revealed, fans can head to the athlete’s Instagram to see the couple enjoying vacations together and taking in the excitement as fiancés.
