In a discreet move, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has acquired two neighboring properties in Lake Tahoe, a sought-after vacation destination for Bay Area residents. The revelation comes from a recent report by The Wall Street Journal.
One of these properties, known as the Carousel Estate, boasts a remarkable 8 bedrooms and 9.5 bathrooms, all nestled within its expansive 3.5-acre expanse. The other estate, called the Brushwood Estate, is situated on a generous 6-acre lot and dates back to the 1920s.
This double acquisition affords the 34-year-old tech mogul a serene and exclusive mountain retreat, complete with an impressive 600 feet of private waterfront. Notably, the property’s waterfront can easily accommodate 50-foot yachts, providing a lavish touch to the getaway. The acquisition is also perfect for hosting gatherings with numerous friends.
Within this scenic haven, the $22 мιllιon Carousel Estate takes center stage, comprising half of Zuckerberg’s newly-formed Lake Tahoe compound. The move highlights not only Zuckerberg’s penchant for privacy but also his appreciation for the beauty and tranquility that Lake Tahoe offers.
