Margot Robbie reminisces about her Hollywood journey while gracing the prestigious September issue of Vogue Australia.

Margot Robbie has come a long way since her debut on Neighbours in 2008.

And to celebrate her role in Quentin Tarantino’s 2019 film Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, the actress graced Vogue Australia’s coveted September issue.

Interviewed by the acclaimed director, the 29-year-old Australian actress reflected on making it in Hollywood, saying: ‘Everything can change so quickly.’

Quentin drew Margot’s attention to the fact that in Hollywood, it can take some actors over a decade for work to pick up – or as little as just six months.

Margot responded: ‘There’s no specific timeline, I guess, and you’re right, that’s the magic of Hollywood. Everything can change so quickly’

‘I couldn’t say Wolf of Wall Street was better than my time on (Australian soap) Neighbours, and I couldn’t say that Z for Zachariah wasn’t as important to me as Tarzan. It’s all been so exciting,’ she continued.

Margot perfected her style credentials in several bold looks for Vogue Australia’s September issue – celebrating her role in Quentin’s acclaimed film, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

The issue is particularly special, with the Queensland-born star having shot four separate covers.

For one cover, Margot, who keeps her flawless complexion in check with 111Skin’s Rose Gold Brightening Facial mask, revealed her toned back in a white linen scarf and trousers.

She posed side-on, leaned backwards, and left her plump lips slightly agape.

Her signature blonde tresses fell in relaxed waves, and her makeup palette included kohl eye liner, lashings of mascara and a glossy lip.

For another cover, Margot wore a plunging lace frock, and pulled her tresses in a dramatic upwards fashion.

She later covered her slender frame in a slinky black halterneck frock and blue faux-fur jacket, for an inside shot.

Androgynous: While another saw Margot highlight her slender figure in a corset-style top, black skinny-leg trousers with flared bottoms and pointy-toe heels

Margot plays Sharon Tate in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood – a young actress in the 1960s, who is married to a famous director and has a career on the rise.

While she may only have few lines of dialogue in the film, Margot was keen to point out at a press conference in Cannes in May, that it came with its benefits.

‘I did feel like I got a lot of time to explore the character without dialogue,’ she said.

‘Rarely do I get an opportunity to spend so much time on my own as a character.’

Vogue Australia’s September issue goes on sale Monday, August 26.
