Austin Is Cagey When First Questioned About Mason, But Decides To Flip On Him!

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) will be cagey when first questioned about Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey). Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will be asking lots of questions, but Austin will decide the best thing is to turn to the police and he’ll flip on Mason!

General Hospital Spoilers – Austin Gatlin-Holt Isn’t Sure

Austin knows lots of secrets about Mason, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) and also Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) but now the secret’s out about Nikolas’ survival.

What has caused Austin the most problem with saving Nikolas’ life and keeping him alive is the betrayal that Ava Jerome (Maura West) felt.

He truly cares about Ava, even though it was awkward trying to start a romance with her when her ex-husband was living in one of his properties secretly.

Then Cyrus caused problems for Mason who caused problems for Ava and Austin couldn’t save her-thank God someone did, but he was in the middle. He held a scalpel to Cyrus’ neck when he found out he’d ordered Mason to kill her-he called off the kill!

GH Spoilers – Not Afraid Of The Cops, Afraid Of Retaliation

Austin’s not afraid of the cops or telling them what he knows-he’s afraid of retaliation by Cyrus or by Mason, if Cyrus can pull strings to keep Mason out of jail.

He’s not even afraid for himself-he’s afraid for Ava, although it would be awkward should Nikolas find out he and Ava had gotten just a tad involved!

Nikolas didn’t admit it but he seemed to still have feelings for his ex-wife and wanted her back if he could work it that way. Nikolas doesn’t remember how he was injured and what put him into a coma-and Austin’s keeping it that way-Austin’s tired of the duplicity of his life.

He was forced to keep the fact that he and Mason saved Nikolas’ life a secret from Ava and everyone else, with Mason taking advantage to blackmail her.

General Hospital Spoilers – Austin Gatlin-Holt Flips On Mason Gatlin

Austin’s not quite brave enough to flip on Cyrus but he has no problem flipping on Mason, who’s so mad at Cyrus that he’ll probably flip on him. He might even take witness protection flipping on Cyrus, which would get him out of Austin’s hair forever.

Austin knows that the intel that Cyrus was looking for was on Pikeman Security Group and thought he could get it from Sonny Corinthos, (Maurice Benard) but never understood why!

Why would Cyrus want information on this dangerous mercenary group, what possible benefit could he gain from it?

Austin tells everything to Dante that he knows-including his part in saving Nikolas’ life, and hopes that Nikolas thinks that’s ok if he finds out!
