In the upcoming film “Eileen,” slated for release on December 1 in New York and Los Angeles, and nationwide on December 8, Hathaway portrays the character Rebecca. The film, set in 1960s Massachusetts during a harsh winter, follows the story of Rebecca and Thomasin McKenzie’s Eileen, employees at a prison whose unusual friendship takes a sinister turn when a dark secret is revealed, propelling Eileen onto a chilling path, according to People.
