Actors have had their good and bad days equally. There have been a few instances where the actors have auditioned for the wrong character and yet got the role! Anne Hathaway is one such example. It was a good day for the actress when she auditioned for Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises but a bad day for Jessica Biel who actually wanted the role.
In an interview, actress Jessica Biel, known for her role in the Blade franchise, talked about how heartbroken she was. Revealing that she was rejected for the role of Catwoman by Christopher Nolan who cast Anne Hathaway instead, Biel did not feel good at all.

In an interview, Biel, who is known for portraying the role of Abigail Whistler in the Blade franchise, revealed that she was quite a bit heartbroken after getting rejected. During the interview with Comic Book Movie, Jessica Biel stated that the role was “another one that got away. I was gutted. I mean, to work with Christopher Nolan in that kind of a role…”
The role instead went on to Anne Hathaway and much to her surprise, she did not even know that she was auditioning for the role of Catwoman! In an interview with BBC Radio 1, the actress recalled that she had prepared for the role of Harley Quinn and had fully committed to the character. It wasn’t until an hour had passed that Hathaway realized her mistake.
