On Sunday, Selena Gomez went out for lunch in New York City, dressed casually.
The 29-year-old actress from Monte Carlo wore an all-white tracksuit with sweatpants and a zip-up jacket.
The Weeknd’s ex-girlfriend Sofia Carson, a fellow Disney Channel graduate, accompanied him to lunch. Carson was dressed in black leggings, a white shirt, and high heels in silver and black.
Selena combed her hair to the left in the front and pulled it back in a loose bun.
She also wore minimal jewelry to complete her easygoing daytime ensemble.
The 29-year-old sensation from Feel the Beat also wore sunglasses and had her hair wrapped up with a center part.
Only a few hours have passed since Gomez made her hosting debut on Saturday Night Live this weekend.
In a skit, she was joined by Steven Martin, 76, who has hosted the show multiple times in the past. Martin played a humor inventor of the Whoopee Cushion and other well-known practical joke gadgets. On the Hulu original series Only Murders in the Building, the two co-star.
During her opening monologue, the actress made light of both Martin and her other co-star, 72-year-old Martin Short, joking, “I was so honored to work with Steve Martin and Martin Short, especially after I googled them to find out who they were.”
Gomez showed off her well-toned legs while wearing a short, black dress and black high heels.
Gomez portrayed Taylor Gosh, the host of the television program American Inventors, in the section featuring Martin’s inventor persona.
“The car, paper cup, dance, and computer.” All of them were made up. However, she said, “But who did that, and what is their story?” before introducing Martin. “Let us start with Archie Gizmo, the clever man who invented the Whoopee Cushion.”
Then the camera panned to Gizmo, who revealed that he was a “struggling gag inventor” in the early 1960s.
All I had was a cushion’s early prototype. I just couldn’t figure out what noise your boss was making when he sat down, even though I knew it would be humorous. “I was unable to solve it,” he said.
At that time, Aidy Bryant, a 35-year-old actress, played Gizmo’s wife, Ms. Dina Beans.
I saw a distant glimpse of her. She had a magnetic energy. Her gaze never stopped. He said, “And every time she sat down—gas.” That night, he realized that the funniest sound to come out of a butt was a fart.
Gizmo continues by saying that Dina’s infamous bad luck served as an inspiration for many more of his inventions, such as the hand buzzer, google-eyed slinky spectacles, and electric gum.
“I fell in love with Dina, and she was the inspiration behind all of my brilliant ideas.” You see, she was more than simply a habitual gas-passer. He said, “She was also the viciously unluckiest woman I had ever met.”
After then, the show moved to a montage of all the bad things that had happened to Dina, such her eyes popping out of their sockets, getting hit by lightning several times, and being attacked by deadly snakes concealed in a peanut jar.
It is between her and God to figure out how this woman survived two lightning bolts and a snake assault. Selena clarified, “But Archie’s popular practical jokes just kept coming.”
“Archie rose to prominence as the world’s most well-known gag creator.” She said, “And Dina Beans is the reason for it all.”
Even though Gizmo was wealthy, he said, “Dina was the prize, and the greatest gag she ever wentofed was marrying a guy like me,” with sweetness. ‘
