Brittany Mahomes posted videos of Patrick and Sterling
The Kansas City Chiefs two offensive superstars spent their bye weeks very differently.
Tight end Travis Kelce took a quick romantic getaway to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he produced several viral moments during his whirlwind weekend at the Eras Tour with his high-profile girlfriend Taylor Swift.
Meanwhile, quarterback Patrick Mahomes spent his off week in a more grounded setting, soaking in family time with his wife, Brittany Mahomes, and children, Sterling and Bronze.
Patrick Mahomes spends family time on the golf course
Brittany posted several Instagram stories of Patrick playing golf at the par three hole in the backyard of their incredible Kansas City mansion, teaching his daughter Sterling how to swing the club and walking hand in hand with her down to the green. He also took Bronze and their dogs, Steel and Silver, out on the course.
“My heart,” Brittany captioned one of the videos, with a teary-eyed emoji.
The Mahomes crew also had some wet and wild fun during their rare fall Sunday with no football. In an adorable video, Sterling gave Silver water out of a hose. As it turns out, little Bronze also loves water, splashing around in the sink in another video posted by Mahomes.
Mahomes bye week controversy involving Brittany and Taylor Swift
The fun-filled Sunday at the links was not the only notable Mahomes event during the Chiefs Week 10 bye. Earlier in the week, Patrick and Brittany caused a stir with their new family photoshoot for SKIMS, the clothing company founded by Kim Kardashian, whose contentious relationship with Taylor Swift made Swifties feel like Brittany had turned on her new friend, Taylor.
Beyond that, drama also emerged at a Dallas Mavericks game that Patrick and Brittany went to, as they were caught on camera exchanging an icy look.
While Kelce and Mahomes both got to spend their bye weeks with loved ones, there’s no doubt that they are looking forward to getting back to business on the football field and out of the off-field spotlight, with one week to prepare for the Chiefs massive showdown with the Eagles on Monday Night Football.
