Mark Ruffalo shows off his CGI suit that makes him the Hulk and our brains are baffled

Mark Ruffalo has been showing off the CGI suit that makes him the Hulk and it looks so complex.

We’re no experts in CGI, but Mark’s getup has left us a little baffled with all its technological tricks and fancy features.

Looking worthy of an Avenger, the Marvel star rocks the suit pretty well and, of course, it gives him the power to turn into the Hulk onscreen.

It works by Mark wearing his very cool motion capture suit that includes a camera to track any facial movements and expressions too.

This is all applied to a digital model of the Hulk and allows our huge green friend to resemble Bruce Banner aka Mark’s Marvel alter-ego.

New behind-the-scenes images were released by Ruffalo via Instagram to mark Avengers: Endgame being released on Digital.

Rocking his CGI suit in several snaps, Mark treated fans to a selfie on set, as well as a shot of himself, Tom Holland and Don Cheadle’s Rhodey getting their CGI on together.

Another shot saw Mark holding the hand full of infinity stones and he joked: ‘When the fate of the universe is in your hands #AvengersEndgame is out on Digital today!’

Endgame was the fourth and final Avengers movie to be released and it broke box office records by becoming the ‘highest grossing film of all time’.

It saw the Avengers take on Thanos once and for all and sealed the fate of major Marvel characters including Captain America, Iron Man and Black Widow. Yes, we’re still crying. No, we still haven’t got it.

But, Marvel producers have already announced a slew of new movies to keep all us fans going – including a new Thor film, reuniting Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman (who plays Jane Foster) on screen, in 2021.

And in a testament to girl power, Captain Marvel has another female boss joining her to rival the rest of the superheros, as Jane is set to become the female version of Thor.

Until then, though, we’ve been filling our Avenger-shaped hole with this newly released gag reel from the Endgame set.
