Max Verstappen, the reigning F1 world champion, has undoubtedly operated in a league of his own this year. He has bashed his competition left and right quite comfortably, and amidst his ever-growing stature in the sport, he has slammed his critics for overlooking his dominance.

Max Verstappen has been the hottest property at the pinnacle of motor racing since the start of the 2022 F1 season. He has won everything, but despite this, he feels he has not been appreciated in the way he deserves. He feels some fans can’t see beyond certain specific things.

While sharing his thoughts about his F1 critics, the 26-year-old Dutchman made it clear that he is not happy with how some fans have perceived his current reign in F1. He pointed out that most of his critics are rival fans who are disappointed to see their drivers in the backfoot every race.

If you are a fan, it is of course also great.”Of course, it depends on whether you are a fan of the dominating team and/or the dominating driver: If you are not a fan of a certain person or team, then you think less of it. In the end, it’s about looking at the performance. Not at the boring dominance. You always have different opinions, some people can’t see that.

Max Verstappen will look to secure wins in the remaining races of 2023

While Max Verstappen has made his opinion known regarding certain things, on a personal note, he has had a season to remember this year. Verstappen secured the 2023 Drivers World Championship during the Qatar Grand Prix weekend but despite this, is still putting in maximum effort.

The hype around the event has started to build up nicely and considering how dominant Max Verstappen has proved this year, several eyes will be on his RB19 around the Las Vegas strip. Verstappen will have several of his fans cheering him on during next week’s mega Formula 1 weekend.
