The F1 extravaganza is heading to the United States for the Las Vegas Grand Prix in a week and Max Verstappen has taken the opportunity to compare Red Bull’s F1 domination to NBA’s Chicago Bulls past glorious run. During the latter’s incessant glory days, Michael Jordan was the main figure on the American team.

Max Verstappen genuinely believes that while a team has been dominating a particular sport for several years, the most ardent fans of the sport cannot just turn their heads on it. He feels they should appreciate the team who has been putting in the hard yards to maintain a certain level for an extended period.

While talking about the same in detail, he quoted Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls’ run as an example and said:

The NBA survived when the Chicago Bulls were dominating. At the time, or even afterward, people are like, ‘Oh, that was amazing.’ If you are a real fan of the sport, you should be able to appreciate a team doing very well.

Looking at the comments of the 26-year-old, it is quite clear how he feels Red Bull‘s current dominant run at the pinnacle of motor racing should be seen by the fans of the sport. In recent times, fans have blasted the Milton-Keynes-based team for proving too mighty for the rest of the F1 grid.Max Verstappen will eye a flawless outing at the Las Vegas strip

While Max Verstappen has urged the fans to acknowledge Red Bull’s dominant F1 run, he has been the one who has led the Austrian outfit’s F1 charge. Red Bull has so far won nineteen of the twenty races that have taken place and Verstappen has won a brilliant seventeen of them.

His teammate, Sergio Perez, has struggled in comparison to him and has only been able to secure the bragging rights in two F1 events. Verstappen has operated in a league of his own and with the Las Vegas Grand Prix just around the corner, he would look to claim the first victory at the track.

Since the start of this week, the Las Vegas GP is the only thing that the fans have been talking about. Max Verstappen is seen by several people as one of the favorites to triumph at the event, and considering this, several eyes are going to be on him around the iconic Las Vegas strip.
