Priyanka Chopra once had her dress ruined right before the red carpet

Miss Priyanka Chopra talked about her dress incident when she went on the Cannes 2019 red carpet.

On January 28, on her personal page, Miss Power India revealed: “On the outside I looked calm, but few people knew that at that time I was very scared. The zipper of the Roberto dress Cavalli broke while my assistant was pulling it up, while I had just a few minutes left to go on the Cannes red carpet.” In an urgent situation, Chopra’s staff sewed the dress back together within five minutes while everyone was in the car going to the event.

That year, Priyanka Chopra impressed the press with a beaded ombre dress with a bold thigh slit at the premiere of the movie Rocketman . The design helped her enter the list of best-dressed stars at the 2019 Cannes film festival.

In a conversation with the magazine, she shared about her married life with her husband who is 10 years younger – singer Nick Jonas. Due to their busy work schedules, they had never been able to spend a full six months together until the pandemic broke out. She said: “We had the opportunity to be together more. It was a blessing and created a good foundation for us.”
