Chelsea’s Cole Palmer continued to ride the crest of a wave by making his England debut last night.
Cole Palmer, who’s just 21, has become a key player for Chelsea since he joined them from Manchester City in the summer.

Palmer celebrated his individual achievement with a post on Instagram after the game.
Chelsea duo Noni Madueke and Ian Maatsen were both delighted for their club teammate, congratulating him in the comment section of the Instagram post.
Cole Palmer should start on Monday
We think Palmer should get his first England start when they travel to North Macedonia on Monday night to wrap up their qualifying campaign.
Chelsea’s playmaker was one of the few bright sparks on the pitch versus Malta, so it would be great to see what he can do with a start.
There’s only three more international fixtures before the Euros begins, including on Monday night. If Southgate is seriously considering Palmer for a spot on the plane to the Euros, he needs to see more of him in an England shirt.
