It seems there is no ‘Bad Blood’ here.
Selena Gomez is not the “Anti-Hero” in Taylor Swift‘s budding romance with Travis Kelce.
After reports circulated that the “Single Soon” singer was not a fan of her best friend’s blossoming relationship with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, new details have emerged proving that Gomez only wants what is best for Swift.
According to a Nov. 14 report from Entertainment Tonight, the Disney Channel alum believes Swift’s relationship with Kelce is the “real deal.”
“She is a big supporter of her and Travis,” the insider told the publication. “Selena and Gigi see how respectful Travis is of Taylor and that he treats her like a queen. They are happy for both of them.”
The source continued, “So far Travis has proven to be caring, honest, and thoughtful. He’s a good listener and communicator, takes her feelings into consideration, puts his family first, and also respects her passion for what she does.”
This update comes shortly after Gigi Hadid, another one of Swift’s pals, shut down gossip that she wasn’t on board with the new couple. In the comments of Perez Hilton‘s Instagram post, Hadid hit back, writing, “I’m a couple of days late to this tag. But didn’t the press try this last week with Selena? Let it be… we are all over the moon for our girl. Period.”
We aren’t surprised that Hadid spoke out in defense of herself and Gomez, as the A-listers recently joined Swift for a Girls’ Night in New York City earlier in October. During the outing—which included Hadid, Gomez, Cara Delevingne and Sophie Turner, as well as the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Brittany Mahomes—Swift beamed as she enjoyed sushi at hotspot BONDST.

Swift has also been accompanied by her famous friends at Kelce’s NFL games. Case in point: Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Sabrina Carpenter, Hugh Jackman, and Antoni Porowski all joined Swift in a VIP box at MetLife Stadium for the Oct. 1 Kansas City Chiefs game against the New York Jets.
So, it’s clear that Swift’s squad has no “Bad Blood” with the American athlete.
