And from the opening shot of him sitting on top of a tank (of the military variety), you know that TreT means business.

One minute, he’s leaping off a high pole; the next, he’s jumping from one flight of stairs to another.

Now an internet sensation, TreT, who weighs 33kg, has managed to attract nearly 200,000 hits on YouTube with his latest adventure.

Not content with using just trees, fences, walls, railway embankments and steps as his targets, he also gatecrashes a picnic area – much to the bemusement of a solitary diner.

And he’s also something of a fashionista – in parts, he is seen wearing a pair of goggle-like sunglasses.

Tre’Ts owner/trainer is always close at hand – or paw – to encourage him, and catch him if he falls.

They train together running along city blocks with TreT running and leaping over objects for fun.

The death-defying hound practises walking on narrow ledges so that in his videos he can run across them at full pelt.

Parkour, or free running, originated in France and has become popular in the last decade.

It is a philosophy which includes the physical practice of traversing objects in both urban and rural settings.

The goal is to move from one point to another as quickly and efficiently as possible.

And as TreT has shown, two legs good; four legs better… and watch out if you’re a cat.
