Tennis legend Serena Williams recently posted a video on Twitter where she could be seen having a light tennis session with her sister Venus Williams. After a long time, the fans could finally see the two sisters together on a tennis court, even if it was just a practice match.

Williams sisters dominated women’s tennis for over two decades and will always be remembered as two of the most dominant figures in the division.

Venus Williams is two years older than Serena Williams and thus she made her professional debut before her, at the young age of just fourteen. From the very beginning, she made it clear that the hype was real.

She won a total of seven Grand Slams and has a particularly great record in the Wimbledon Championships, where she won six of them. Her only other Grand Slam came in the US Open in 2000. Apart from that, she was also the runner-up in Grand Slams nine times.

The latest inductee in the National Women’s Hall of Fame Serena Williams made her debut after Venus Williams. But she had a much more decorated career and ended up becoming the most successful Women’s tennis player ever. She won 23 Grand Slams in her career, the most ever won by any woman in the open era.

Serena Williams and Venus Williams had been doubles partners throughout their careers. In fact, they won 14 major women’s doubles titles and were unbeaten in major doubles finals.

This is the best unbeaten record in major finals in any discipline of the sport. Serena Williams retired at the US Open in 2022 while Venus still playing. With the latest video, fans are expecting them to comeback in doubles.
