Bad Bunny received a divisive reception after slamming Harry Styles during his Coachella show on Friday night.
The Puerto Rican rapper, 29, took to the stage to perform his headlining set; a two-hour show which included special guests such as Jhayco, Jowell & Randy and Ñengo Flow and Post Malone.
But it was during his recital of ‘El Apagón’, from his most recent album, Un Verano Sin Ti, when he decided to take a moment to criticise Harry.
Pulling up an old tweet behind him, the singer took aim at the British star, insinuating he had more versatility.
The tweet read: ‘goodnight benito could do as it was but harry could never do el apagon’, referring to Bad Bunny by his first name.

Taking to social media, fans were quick to give their take on the swipe, with many praising the move.
One fan wrote: ‘Lmao bad bunny throwing shade at Harry styles! But did he lie??? Not one bit
A second added: ‘bad bunny shading harry styles on the main stage that’s enough for me to stan’
‘Now why would Bad Bunny show this messy tweet. Harry Styles getcho lick back!’, another said.
Meanwhile others weren’t so impressed.
One said: ‘Not bad bunny going to a Harry styles concert as a supporter/fan and then trying to tear him down at Coachella Foh I don’t like that attitude’
‘Didn’t Bad Bunny go to Harry Styles concert last year as a fan and now he’s throwing shade to Harry. Get out of my face bye’, a second added.
A third fan argued: ‘BYE cause bad bunny just dissed Harry styles. But who was at who’s concert tho smh’.
Winner! In February, Harry beat Bad Bunny to w in in the elusive Album Of The Year category – the night’s biggest award
A fourth pointed out: ‘Bad Bunny could shade Harry Styles all he wants but Harry Styles still won the AOTY’.
In February, Harry beat Bad Bunny to win in the elusive Album Of The Year category – the night’s biggest award.
The 29-year-old British singer won for his third solo album Harry’s House as he beat an impressive field of ten total including ABBA – Voyage, Adele – 30, Bad Bunny – Un Verano Sin Ti, Beyoncé – Renaissance, Brandi Carlile – In These Silent Days, Coldplay – Music of the Spheres, Kendrick Lamar – Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers, Lizzo – Special, and Mary J. Blige – Good Morning Gorgeous (Deluxe).
Earlier in the night Harry also beat out heavy competition, including Adele and Lizzo as he earned the first award of the night at the star-studded event – Best Pop Vocal Album.
Also a contentious subject is the fact Bad Bunny is reportedly dating Harry Styles’ ex, Kendall Jenner.
And indeed, there to support him, Kendall danced up a storm at his headlining set.
The 27-year-old supermodel put on a leggy show in a denim mini skirt and a black leather jacket, and was joined by sister Kylie Jenner and gal pal Hailey Bieber.
She was also seen in footage – captured and uploaded to Twitter by a fan during the festival – shimmying among the packed crowd as her musician beau took the stage amid their blossoming romance, which began in February.
The reality star, who rebounded with the three-time Grammy winner following the end of her two-year relationship with Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker, swayed her hips back and forth.
During the two-hour show, the daughter of Kris Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner beamed at her man as he sang 40 tracks with only one brief mid-show.
She was also joined by friends by the main stage as they partied away in the desert just before midnight.
At one point, Bad Bunny took a moment to reflect on the speculation about his personal life as he told the audience that not everything they read is true.
‘I wanted to say that, humbly, people sometimes think, actually think that they know the life of famous people. But it’s not true, they don’t know anything,’ he told his fans.
The superstar continued: ‘They don’t know what we feel, what we think. They don’t know how we really live, social life. In common places we say a lot of things, but you can’t know the reality of what a heart feels. And for this reason, what I don’t say, don’t believe it.’

He went on to say that the only people that ‘really know’ him are the ones he invites to his home, not just through his social media or magazine interviews.
Kendall’s sister Kylie, 25, was pictured sporting a white jacket and white sunglasses to the festival.
Bad Bunny took to his Instagram Stories the next day to share numerous clips of him driving in a golf cart while listening to music.
He might have been joined by Kendall, as one of the clips saw a brief glimpse of long brown hair blowing in the wind.
The rapper looked casual cool in a green tank top, and blinged out his look with an oversized silver cross.
He wore his hair in braids and further accessorized with diamond studs.
Her appearance at his show comes less than two after after she and the megastar – born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio – went horseback riding together.
Last month Bad Bunny appeared to shade Kendall’s ex-boyfriend Devin Booker on his new song Coco Chanel.
The Puerto Rican hitmaker collaborated with Eladio Carrion on a new track, where he seemed to take a pointed jab at her NBA star ex, 26.
Bad Bunny sings in Spanish on the track, with one particular verse contrasting the hot temperature in his native Puerto Rico, to the sun in Phoenix, where Booker plays basketball for the Phoenix Suns.
‘I’m not bad, baby that’s a gimmick / But the sun in Puerto Rico is hotter than in Phoenix / She knows it,’ the translated verse reads.

And the basketball player reportedly responded to the lyrics in a now-deleted Instagram comment, writing, ‘He’s worried about another MAN again’ on a Reggaeton by RapTV post.
The clap back appeared to be a reference to the time Bad Bunny kissed a male dancer during his MTV VMAs performance in 2022.
In another line on the song Bad Bunny also refers to Scorpio women being dangerous.’
Scorpio is Kendall’s zodiac sign, as she was born on November 3, 1995.
The song first dropped on Friday as a feature on Carrion’s album titled ‘3MEN2 KBRN.’
Devin also unfollowed Kendall on Instagram amid the dating rumors between her and the Latin hunk.
Last month, Kendall and Bad Bunny appeared to confirm romance rumours when they showed off some major PDA and kissed after a group dinner with sister Kylie Jenner and other friends in West Hollywood.
Before that the 818 Tequila entrepreneur and the three-time Grammy-winning rapper were spotted leaving Beyonce and Jay-Z’s Oscars afterparty at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood in the same car.
Fans of the two public figures had been speculating on their relationship ever since an item on the DeuxMoi gossip blog claimed they had been spotted making out at a club in Los Angeles in mid-February.
An insider told People that Kendall and the Ojitos Lindos hitmaker had been introduced by mutual friends several weeks before they were spotted kissing.
‘Kendall recently started hanging out with him,’ a second source shared. ‘They were introduced by friends. He moved to LA a few weeks ago and bought a house.
‘She likes him and is having fun. He is different from guys that she dated in the past. He is very charming,’ that insider added.
