Watch the iconic actor and NFL great take on a moment from ‘Remember the Titans.’
Denzel Washington and Tom Brady just gave fans a moment they never knew they needed.
The two legends teamed up to re-enact a scene from the actor’s 2000-released film Remember the Titans, which was appropriately centered around Alexandria, Virginia-located T.C. Williams High School’s football team as they navigated racism and friendship in the midst of overcoming prejudice during the early 1970s.
While Washington—who portrayed real-life coach Herman Boone in the movie—was appearing on a recent episode of the Let’s Go podcast with Brady and journalist Jim Gray, the latter convinced The Equalizer star to re-enact one of his most famous scenes from the project.
To fans’ delight, he obliged, performing a line reading of the iconic scene where Coach Boone introduces himself to his new team with Brady.

The pair concluded the scene with Brady applauding Washington, saying, “That’s for your performance, not mine. That was f–king good,” to which the Academy Award winner quipped back, “I’m coaching Tom Brady, are you joking?”
The internet couldn’t get enough of the snippet, which was posted to X (formerly Twitter) along with the caption, “Table reads with the LEGEND Denzel Washington!?!”
“Wow! These are two of the most influential individuals in the world,” one replied in the comments, while another commended the three-time Golden Globe winner: “Denzel is just the best.”

“OMG!!! Legends!” someone else agreed, as yet another called the piece of work their “favorite movie of all time,” and we can’t argue there, as the film has been regarded as one of the best football movies ever made.
