Iggy Azalea has pulled in an eye-watering sum via OnlyFans, beating out superstars like Cardi B and Tyga to become the top earner amongst celebrities on the platform.
The revelations about the stars’ earnings came from a report by LELO, a luxury adult toy brand, who shared their findings on Monday (November 20).
According to the report, the “Fancy” rapper raked in $48 million on the popular platform in 2023, becoming the top celebrity earner and slightly edging out Cardi B (who brought in $45 million).
Tyga, meanwhile, brought in $20 million from OnlyFans before deactivating his profile to start his own, competing platform known as Myystar.
Other top earners on the platform include Amber Rose (who raked in $26 million), Chris Brown ($15 million), and DJ Khaled and Fat Joe ($4 million).
Back in January, Iggy Azalea announced that she would be releasing a new year-long multimedia project called Hotter Than Hell, which will be available exclusively on the content subscription service.
For $25 per month, fans get first-look access to a stream of exclusive and uncensored photos, videos, illustrations, poetry, and music from the Aussie star — including her fourth studio album, which was released this summer.
Immediately after Azalea made the announcement official on January 13, hundreds of fans flocked to her new account to get the all-access pass.
“Admittedly, I never knew OnlyFans was a place where I could be creative, so I didn’t expect to be collaborating with them on my biggest project to date!” Azalea told Variety. “Once I looked beyond the surface-level chatter about what it means to have an OnlyFans, I realized it was the perfect platform to launch a multimedia concept on.
“I feel excited about not having to worry about the overwhelming and creatively limiting censorship artists have to navigate when sharing work on other digital platforms,” she added. “The project is bold and fun — so is this collaboration — I think it’s going to surprise a lot of people.”
While she once promised to never join OnlyFans, Iggy Azalea admitted she had a change of heart due to the “overwhelming and creatively limiting censorship” of other platforms as she hopes to connect with fans and express herself in a sincere manner.
