During a talk show appearance, Sandra Bullock discusses the experience of filming The Lost City, where she worked alongside a nearly nude Channing Tatum.

Sandra Bullock described how she stayed focused while filming with an almost nude Channing Tatum on Monday’s episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

The 57-year-old actress, wearing a black crop bra top under a pink blazer with pink yellow, and black pants, described how in her new movie The Lost City she was in front of his crotch but tried instead to divert her eyes and focus on his thigh.

Sandra plays a shut-in author who gets kidnapped and has a scene where she has to help Channing, 41, who plays a romance novel cover model, peel leeches off his body.

‘He’s full on Fabio,’ said Sandra.

‘He’s more than that he’s full on Monty,’ said Stephen, 57. ‘Let’s sell some tickets right now, Sandy.’

‘He’s stupid naked in this film,’ said Sandra.

Stephen said there was a full on shot of his butt.

Sandra said not really.

‘There is a full cheek…but I don’t believe we showed the full left cheek,’ said Sandra.

‘Ninety percent of the left cheek,’ said Stephen, who then said there was a moment when Channing’s character turned around so she could check his front. ‘Was that CGI?’

‘No,’ said Sandra.

‘You are there?’ asked Stephen.

‘Fully there,’ said Sandra. ‘Full on, face to face, with the landscape …I had to spend some time down there.’

Stephen said her character was reacting as if he was well endowed.

‘When you are down there and you have two pages of dialogue, if you are looking directly at it you will get nothing done,’ said Sandra. ‘So I looked at his left thigh.’

Stephen told her that the movie was fun, silly and stupid. Sandra said the movie was a throwback type movie where she plays an author who was a shut-in and gets kidnapped by an evil billionaire played by Daniel Radcliffe.

Stephen then asked her about Brad Pitt’s cameo in her movie  and he asked her how that came about.

‘My girlfriend who has been doing my hair on movies forever was doing his hair on Bullet Train and he said can you please call Sandy and ask her if she would be willing to do this part,’ said Sandy. ‘ I said yes and I called Jennine back and said can you please tell Bradly P that he needs to do the part in our movie.’

Sandra said they never spoke directly.

Stephen then turned the conversation to her Speed movies and said that Keanu Reeves came back with the Matrix movie and asked Sandra about making Speed 3. Stephen said that Keanu was up for it.

‘I would be happy to sit in any vehicle with Keanu for the duration of making a movie,’ said Sandra. ‘I think we should be really old and in an RV. He’s driving this time and I’m telling him how to drive and we are fighting maybe.’

Stephen then said he tried to get an audition for Speed 2 before Sandra shared a bloopers reel from The Lost City.
