The 40-year-old Eileen actress joined fellow Bulgari ambassadors Zendaya and Priyanka Chopra on the red carpet for the launch of Bulgari Mediterranea, the brand’s new High Jewelry Collection, which took place at Venice’s Palazzo Ducale. All three ladies looked utterly sensational in their ensembles, all while dripping in Bulgari jewels of course, but there was one thing about Anne’s outfit that we couldn’t stop talking about: the hood!
The She Came To Me star’s silver and gold Atelier Versace gown, which was designed by Donatella Versace herself, was show-stopping on its own of course, but the hood elevated it even further! Neither Anne nor Alessandra were the first ladies to bring back the hooded dress though, as trend-setters such as Rihanna, Margot Robbie and Jenna Ortega have all stepped out in one recently too. The “Diamonds” singer wore a striking custom Alaïa coat-dress with the hood worn up to create ultimate drama, teamed with matching red Amina Muaddi heels, and Chopard hoops earrings.

The 32-year-old Barbie actress also chose a design by Alaïa to prove that the hooded ensemble – which was made famous by Grace Jones in the 80s – is back with a vengeance! For the Babylon premiere back in December 2022, Margot wore a stunning black dress from the Alaïa Spring 2023 collection that featured a criss-cross neckline, an ab-baring cutout in the middle, an asymmetrical skirt, and of course the pièce de résistance, a hood!
