Meanwhile, BLACKPINK received the Order of the Grand Empire from King Charles III of the United Kingdom at a cultural arts encouragement event held at Buckingham Palace on November 22 (local time). Recognized for their efforts as ambassadors for the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26), BLACKPINK raised global awareness of the need to address climate change during their activities in 2021 when the UK held the presidency of COP26.
