The Williams sisters have always been staunch supporters of one other’s accomplishments, and it appears that Serena Williams’ daughter is no exception.
After announcing her retirement from tennis earlier this month, the tennis superstar went out on Monday for her farewell US Open in New York.
As celebrities flocked to attend what could be one of the iconic player’s final games, all eyes were on Serena’s girls’ touching tribute to her mother.
Olympia, four, stood in the grandstand with her father, Alexis Ohanian, when her mother faced Montenegro’s Danka Kovinic, and she cheered and snapped photos on a disposable pink camera.
However, it was her hairstyle that caught fans’ attention, as Olympia wore her short locks in braids with white beads on the end.
Serena wore the exact same hairstyle in her first US Open, 23 years ago when won her first grand slam title.

It is one of the most iconic matches in Serena’s career as it was the defining moment that propelled her status as a professional tennis player to a whole new level.
At 17 years old, Serena won the final match against Martina Hingis in 1999 and wore her hair in braids with white beads.
This was recently recreated in the Oscar-winning biopic about the Williams sisters’ lives, King Richard.
Alongside, Serena’s supportive family, A-List celebrities flocked to the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York to see the match.
Hugh Jackman looked more loved-up than ever with his wife of 26 years, Deborra-Lee Furness. While former President Bill Clinton watched on, alongside stars such as Queen Latifah, Bella Hadid and Rebel Wilson and her partner, Ramona Agruma.
The Greatest Showman actor also took a moment to praise Serena as the ‘GOAT’ aka the ‘greatest of all time’ ahead of the match on Monday.
