Chelsea recalled Andrey Santos from his loan spell at Nottingham Forest earlier this month.
Things did not go well for Andrey Santos at the City Ground, with the midfielder failing to make a single start in the Premier League.
According to the Evening Standard, he will now wait until next week before deciding whether to stay at Chelsea or go out on loan again.
Santos is not the only player Chelsea have recalled this month.
Several footballers have returned to Stamford Bridge, including Cesare Casadei, who had initially joined Leicester City on a season-long loan. Mauricio Pochettino has since confirmed that the Italian will be part of the first team for what is left of the campaign.

Andrey Santos’ future to be decided soon
It looks like it will not be long before Chelsea supporters find out what is going to happen with Santos.
We think another loan move would probably be best for him. With Casadei definitely staying, it does not make sense to keep Santos at the club as well.
Casadei remaining at Stamford Bridge means Pochettino now has five fit midfielders at this moment in time: the Italy U21 international, Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo, Conor Gallagher and Carney Chukwuemeka.
When Romeo Lavia and Lesley Ugochukwu return from injuries, they are two more options for the Argentine.
Ultimately, Santos is probably going to see little game time if he stays in west London. And after barely playing in the first half of the season, that is surely something the young Brazilian, who cost £18m (Daily Mail), and Chelsea do not want.
If possible, then, Chelsea should look to loan Santos out again. And if they do, hopefully his spell wherever goes much better than his stint at Forest, which should not be too hard given he made just one Premier League appearance there.
