While constructing a plumbing system, construction workers discovered 600kg of ancient Roman coins near the city of Seville in southern Spain.

According to ABC (Australia), Ms. Ana Navarro, director of the Seville Archaeological Museum, the unit that manages this ancient coin, said: “It is a unique collection of ancient coins, very rare discoveries. Similarly”.
Dating to around the 3rd or 4th century, the bronze coins were found in 19 ancient Roman vases in the town of Tomares, near the city of Seville, in southern Spain.
Ms. Navarro refused to give an exact estimate of the value of the newly discovered ancient vault. Just saying these coins are definitely worth many millions of euros.
The ancient coins, which had engravings from the time of emperors Maximian and Constantine, appear to have never entered circulation because there were few signs of wear or cracking.

It is thought that this money was probably intended to pay the salaries of military personnel or those working in the civil service system.
“Most of the money is newly minted and some of it is silvered, not just completely bronze,” Ms. Navarro said.
Local authorities have temporarily stopped construction of water pipes and plan to excavate the area where ancient coin jars were discovered.
