Travis Barker appears to shade Kim Kardashian and in-laws by showing off tattoo with pointed message amid family tension

TRAVIS Barker has seemingly shaded his sister-in-law Kim Kardashian and her family by flaunting one of his many tattoos on social media.

The Blink-182 star and his wife Kourtney Kardashian have been at odds with her sisters since they tied the knot in May 2022.

Now Travis, 48, has seemingly thrown shade at Kim, 43, and his in-laws with a new photo of his finger tattoos.

The drummer took to his Instagram Stories on Wednesday night to share a picture of himself sitting from the neck down.

In the snap, the father of three sported a black graphic T-shirt and matching pants.

Travis held his fists close to the camera where fans could read words etched across his knuckles.

The tattoos had the phrase: “Dues paid, self-made.”

The California star captioned the photo: “Just started touching up my knuckles 15 years after my accident. Thank you @chueyquintanar.”

Travis’ post seemed to throw shade at his wife Kourtney’s family, who have been accused of being nepo babies – celebrities who find success due to having the privilege of famous parents – for years.

The Kar-Jenner empire began after patriarch Robert Kardashian gained notoriety as OJ Simpson’s defense lawyer.

SISTER SQUABBLES

Meanwhile, Kourtney, 44, and her younger sister Kim have been at odds since the eldest sibling accused the makeup mogul of trying to steal the spotlight of her wedding.

Since then, tensions between the sisters have come to light, both on social media and via the family’s Hulu show, The Kardashians.

The Poosh founder and her husband Travis welcomed their first child together, a son named Rocky Thirteen, in November.

Since then, Kourtney has operated under strict visitation rules, and even weeks after giving birth Kim had still not met the newborn.

The source exclusively told The U.S. Sun in November: “Kourtney is going to be introducing the new baby to her family on an ‘invite-only’ basis.

“[Kourtney] and Travis have communicated that they will be taking ‘family only’ time for the newly blended family and for Kourt to rest, and then they will be inviting the extended family over on an individual basis,” the insider explained.

Kourtney, shares her three older children Mason, 13, Penelope, 11, and Reign, 8, with her ex Scott Disick, 40.

Travis was previously married to Shanna Moakler, 48, and they share two children, Alabama, 17, and Landon, 20.

The source continued: “So now everyone’s talking about where Kim will be on the list.

“Obviously, Kris will be first – but who is going to get the second invite?

“Kourtney has said it’s a germs thing – to protect the baby and not expose him to any risk – but it’s, like, part of her new strategy to keep everyone at arm’s length,” the insider claimed.

NEVER COMING BACK?

In mid-December, The U.S. Sun exclusively revealed that Kourtney has deliberately cut herself off from her family since giving birth.

The TV personality had already planned to take 40 days out after welcoming son Rocky, but friends fear she has no desire to ever return to the spotlight.

Kourtney’s family have asked when she will start working again, though she has warned them she won’t be rushed.

A source explained: “Kourtney always wanted 40 days to recuperate after giving birth.

“Her pregnancy was hard and physically & emotionally challenging, and she had no intention of rushing back out there – she wants to slow it all down.

“She says she has nothing to prove but wanted to make sure all the kids were feeling grounded and secure and loved and involved.

“Now as the 40 days are nearly up, Kourtney says she’s going to take her time getting back to it.”

The insider added: “Friends are worried she’ll never return to public life – at least not at the level she was.

“When her family ask about when she’ll be back to work she tells them she won’t be rushed and to back off.

“She’s basically cut herself off from everyone at this stage.”

Kourtney’s rep was approached for comment.

This is a very big step towards the start of World War Three, says furious Putin official as Biden lets Ukraine strike inside Russia before Trump becomes President

Senior Russian politicians have declared President Joe Biden has taken a ‘big step towards World War Three’ after his administration reportedly gave the green light for Ukraine to blast targets inside Russia with US-supplied long-range missiles. The decision, which comes on the eve of the 1000th day of war in Ukraine amid the dying days of the Biden administration, heralded a torrent of apocalyptic warnings from Russian lawmakers. ‘This is a very big step towards the beginning of the Third World War,’ said Putin-loyalist Vladimir Dzhabarov, deputy chairman of the foreign affairs committee of the upper house and a retired security service general.
