Reports have claimed that one Chelsea player is asking for quite the rise in salary before he puts pen to paper on a new contract at Stamford Bridge.
According to GiveMeSport, midfielder Conor Gallagher is looking for a wage of £150k-a-week in his potential new deal, three times the fee he is currently earning.
Gallagher is reportedly up for sale for the right price this month, despite the fact that he has been a crucial player in the system of manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Any sale this month would surely seriously frustrate the manager. However, this has not put an end to the discussions surrounding his potetnial departure.
Tottenham have previously been mentioned as a side who are potentially interested in striking a deal with the Blues for him. However, they themselves are waiting on a sale in order to free up funds.
While talk of an exit is firmly out there, there have been reports that a new contract has at least been discussed by the two parties at Stamford Bridge.
Gallagher wants salary rise
However, it has now emerged that things are no closer to moving to a stage where a new deal is signed, with Gallagher reportedly keen on a healthy salary increase in order to stay.
It is safe to say that many at the club do not see Gallagher as a long-term option to play in midfield, and believe cashing in on him would be the best bet in order to raise funds for other areas.
A striker is reportedly top of the list of positions they want to add to either this month or at the end of the season. Victor Osimhen is reportedly at the top of that list.
