Tottenham Hotspur striker Richarlison has reacted to getting dropped from the Brazil squad ahead of the international break.
The decision came amid Richarlison’s struggles with Tottenham, having failed to hit the ground running since he joined the north Londoners in 2022 move from Everton.
While he has appeared to have rediscovered his form since the arrival of Ange Postecoglou, this has not been enough to convince is to afford him a spot in the Brazil squad.

According to Goal, the former Everton ace has scored one goal and bagged three assists in his last six matches.
Despite the evident improvement, he will not be involved for Brazil when they take on Colombia and Argentina, respectively, on November 16 and 21.

The forward has now come out to admit that he totally understands Diniz’s decision to drop him from the squad.
According to the forward, he has not been playing well enough to be afforded a spot in the team.
“I was sad when I was not called up, but I understand Deniz,” Richarlison told ESPN after the Chelsea game.“In his place, I wouldn’t call me up either — I haven’t been playing good football, I’ve been below my best. I’ve improved in the last few games. But I need to improve a lot to wear the national team shirt,” he added.
